Refunds & cancellation
Free to create, free to preview — so you only pay once you are sure. Here is exactly when money comes back.
Last updated 4 October 2026 · Covers India, the US and the UK
01A surprise is a digital product
Creating and previewing is completely free, so you can see the whole experience before you pay. Because delivery is instant and digital, a surprise that has been published and shared is generally not refundable — you already received exactly what you bought.
02Refund rights in your country
IndiaSelected
The rules on this page apply in full, alongside the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Failed payment debits are reversed by your bank, usually within 5–7 working days; approved refunds return to the original UPI, card or bank account.
United States
The rules on this page apply. You also keep any right your card issuer gives you to dispute a charge, and any right under your state's consumer law. There is no subscription and nothing will renew.
United Kingdom
14-day right to cancel. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you can normally cancel a digital purchase within 14 days. Because your surprise is delivered immediately, checkout asks you to agree to immediate delivery and to acknowledge that you lose this right once your private link is created. Before the link is created you may cancel for a full refund.
Faulty content. Losing the cancellation right never affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015: if the surprise is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or a refund.
03When we do refund
- Money taken, nothing unlocked — the payment succeeded but the surprise was not unlocked.
- Duplicate payment — you were charged twice for the same order.
- Failed payment — the gateway shows a failure; any debited amount is reversed by your bank, usually within 5–7 working days.
- Our fault — the surprise could not be delivered or was broken because of a defect on our side and we could not fix it.
- Not yet published — you paid but have not published the surprise, and you ask within 7 days.
04When we cannot refund
- The surprise was published and the link was shared or opened.
- The recipient did not react the way you hoped.
- You mistyped a name or message but the surprise worked.
- The link expired naturally after its plan period.
- The account was suspended for abuse or a breach of our terms.
05How to request a refund
Email care@ehsasmoments.co.in (or call +91 63767 53295) with your registered email, the payment reference and what happened. We acknowledge within 24 hours and decide within 7 working days (UK consumers: refunds are paid within 14 days of our agreement). Approved refunds go back to the original payment method — UPI, card or bank — and typically settle in 5–10 working days depending on your bank.
06Cancellation
Plans are one-time purchases, not subscriptions, so there is nothing recurring to cancel. You can delete a published surprise at any time from your dashboard; deletion removes the media but does not create a refund on its own. Please contact us before raising a card chargeback — we will usually refund faster than a dispute takes. Photos and voice notes are deleted 7 days after your link expires. Text and payment records are kept as required by law.
07If you are not satisfied
Escalate to our grievance contact. You also keep every remedy your local consumer law gives you — see the country section above.
