01Who handles your complaint
Ehsas Moments is a small, independent product run by its founder. There is no call centre and no separate department — the founder personally reads and answers every complaint, and is the single named contact required under Rule 3(2) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the DPDP Act, 2023.

Writing to care@ehsasmoments.co.in reaches the same person; the grievance address simply keeps formal complaints in one place so the timelines below can be tracked.
02Timelines and escalation in your country
IndiaSelected
Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours, resolved within 15 days (IT Rules 2021). If unresolved, privacy complaints can go to the Data Protection Board of India, and consumer complaints to the National Consumer Helpline (1915, consumerhelpline.gov.in) or e-Daakhil.
United States
Privacy and consumer requests are answered within 45 days (extendable once by 45 days, with notice). If you are unhappy with our decision you can appeal by replying to it, then contact your state Attorney General or the Federal Trade Commission (reportfraud.ftc.gov).
United Kingdom
Requests are answered within one month (extendable by two months for complex requests, with notice). If unresolved, contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) for privacy, or Citizens Advice (0808 223 1133) for consumer issues.
03What you can report
- A surprise link sent to you that you want removed, or unwanted contact.
- Content that is obscene, impersonating, defamatory or infringes your rights.
- A privacy request: access, correction, erasure, withdrawal of consent, nomination.
- A payment, refund or partner commission dispute.
04What to include
Your name and a contact email, the surprise link or payment reference, a clear description of the problem, and — for takedown requests — a statement that the information you have given is accurate. This helps us act without asking you for more personal data than needed.
05Our timelines
- Acknowledgement within 24 hours of receiving your complaint.
- Resolution within 15 days, as the IT Rules require.
- Content that is unlawful or non-consensual intimate imagery is acted on far faster, within the shorter windows the rules prescribe.
Being a one-person team does not shorten your rights or stretch these deadlines. Urgent takedowns are handled first; everything else is answered in the order it arrives.
06If we do not resolve it
For privacy grievances you may approach the Data Protection Board of India after exhausting our process. For consumer issues you may use the National Consumer Helpline or the appropriate consumer commission. Our privacy policy and terms explain the underlying rules.
